Font Finder is written in AppleScript. AppleScript is highly compatible and stable on 68030 and higher Macintosh machines with System 7.1 or higher installed, including System 8. This compatibility and stability is why this language was chosen.
**New in version 1.1--Font Finder runs native on Power Macs! It comes as a FAT version so it will run on all Macintoshes with the minimum system requirements.

Installing Font Finder
The AppleScript extension must be installed on your computer. To check if it is, simply open Font Finder. If it runs, it is there. You could also look in the extensions folder of the System Folder.
If AppleScript is not in your computer, re-install your system software, choosing the "custom install窶ｦ" option. Then, scroll down and check the "AppleScript" box. Click install and it will place the proper extension in your System Folder. Then it will want to restart. After your restart you are ready to go.
The Font Finder utility can be placed anywhere on your computer. A handy place for it is in the Apple Menu Items folder of the System Folder.
